The Chemical Society of Thailand (CST) under the patronage of Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana, has written to the Office of the Private Education Commission to inform it that CST, Chulalongkorn University, the Office of the Basic Education Commission, the Office of the Private Education Commission, and DOW Thailand Group have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the implementation of the Science Experiment Teaching and Learning Capacity Development Project. The objective is to promote and develop the capacity of science teachers to effectively transfer scientific knowledge to learners, thereby elevating science teaching and learning in schools. CST has continuously conducted teacher training programs every year, and this year has organized the Workshop “Small Scale Chemistry Laboratory for Secondary Schools” (Special Round) during 20–21 June 2026 via online system.
The Office of the Private Education Commission considers this online workshop to be beneficial for developing the capacity of science teachers to manage instruction effectively. It therefore publicizes this to licensed operators of private schools offering secondary education to take note and inform interested science teachers to apply for registration through the channels specified by CST by 10 June 2026.
