CST “Secondary School Textbook Forwarding Project” – Second-Hand Textbooks from Seniors to Juniors

The Chemical Society of Thailand, represented by Associate Professor Dr. Suphakorn Boonyuen, Vice President, received 255 donated textbooks from Grade 12 students of Suankularb Wittayalai Rangsit School. The Chemical Society of Thailand served as a bridge of goodwill by delivering the books to secondary school students at the following 4 schools:

1. Mathayom Ko Mak School, Pak Phayun District, Phatthalung Province
2. Songkhla Wittayakom School, Ching Ko Subdistrict, Singhanakhon District, Songkhla Province
3. Nawaminthrachutiit Thaksin School, Phawong Subdistrict, Mueang District, Songkhla Province
4. Khukhan School, Huai Nuea Subdistrict, Khukhan District, Si Sa Ket Province

This project aligns with the following SDG goals: SDG 4 (Quality Education) – reducing inequality in educational opportunity; SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) – through reuse of educational resources to reduce raw material consumption; and SDG 13 (Climate Action) – by reducing the environmental impact of paper production.

The Chemical Society of Thailand commends the generosity of the students of Suankularb Wittayalai Rangsit School for donating textbooks to younger students through the association.
